The purpose of this session is to demonstrate how ultrasound can enhance spasticity management. This session will focus on how ultrasound can improve techniques for chemodenervation. The purpose of this session will focus on muscle changes that cannot be recognized by the examiner without visualization. These include not only muscle volume but structural changes that occur in the muscle that can change chemodenervation effectiveness. Discussion of ultrasound evaluation of the muscle morphology such as Heckmatt Scale and elastography will also be discussed.
