Attendees will learn about evidence on the treatment through minimally invasive basivertebral nerve radiofrequency ablation. The primary focus will be on recent and emerging evidence of radiofrequency ablation for this indication.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion participants will be able to describe the basic neuroanatomy of the discovertebral complex and the scientific rationale for basivertebral nerve ablation.
Upon completion participants will demonstrate an understanding of the selection criteria and important demographics in studies of basivertebral nerve ablation published to date.
Upon completion participants will demonstrate an understanding of the success rate of basivertebral nerve ablation for important clinical outcomes including pain reduction and reduction of back pain associated disability.
