Amid several negative population health trends, the COVID crisis, and healthcare burnout, there is a confluence of technologies and value-based initiatives that are causing major shifts in clinical and financial innovation. Payment for remote physiologic monitoring (RPM) from CMS is driving investment into FDA-approved medical wearables that provide real-time and ongoing assessments of patients’ physiologic parameters.
