This session will be focused on reviewing the current knowledge and highlighting the latest research of three of the most significant disorders that Pediatric Physiatrists address in their cancer patients: Posterior Fossa Syndrome (also known as Pediatric Postoperative Cerebellar Mutism Syndrome), Chemotherapy associated adverse outcomes including Chemotherapy Induced Peripheral Neuropathy, and Chronic Graft Versus Host Disease. The presenters will discuss the known pathophysiology, diagnostic process, and up-to-date management of these three disorders, followed by a discussion of the most recent and impactful literature pertaining to each topic, finishing with a discussion of avenues of future possible research.

Learning Objectives:

Identifying, appropriately diagnosing and differentiating, and reviewing treatment options for Posterior Fossa Syndrome, Chemo related adverse outcomes, and Chronic Graft Versus Host Disease.
Describing and discussing the most recent literature in the field of Pediatric Cancer Rehabilitation, as it pertains to the three major topics.
Considering possible avenues of further research, based on the current knowledge and most up-to-date scientific literature available in the field.
