Panelists will share current experience with telemedicine practices, including logistics, tips, innovations, and any cancer-specific learnings. Recent research conducted through a survey study with thematic analysis on the practice patterns in telemedicine among practicing cancer physiatrists will also be shared. This will include aspects on physical exam performed through telemedicine, provider preferences for context in specific clinical and social situations, provider perceived benefits, disadvantages of telemedicine, and ways to adapt clinical practice to telemedicine.

Identify current best-practice characteristics for cancer rehabilitation telemedicine based on literature, survey data, and clinician experiences.
Identify the impact of telemedicine on physiatry treatment plans.
Describe the impact of telemedicine on disparities in cancer rehabilitation care and identify strategies to mitigate disparities.
