Large carious lesions on permanent molars, which may require subsequent endodontic therapy, are observed in children and adults. The integrity of a final restoration, after the completion of the endodontic therapy, is crucial for the survival of a tooth. Evidence shows full coverage restorations are an effective means of increasing longevity of the restoration and reducing the risk of fracture. This case report presentation follows a pediatric patient which underwent endodontic therapy of multiple teeth, did not return to have the full coverage restorations placed, and revisited the clinic 5 years later. This case will demonstrate the importance of continuity of care and use of pre-fabricated stainless-steel crowns on permanent molars.
