Pediatric Dental Resident
NYU Langone Dental Medicine, Brooklyn, NY (Anchorage, AK site)
Alex Olson, DMD, is a second-year pediatric dental resident at the Anchorage, Alaska site affiliated with NYU Langone Health’s Advanced Education in Pediatric Dentistry program. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Utah with a bachelor’s degree in biology. In 2020, he graduated with his dental degree from the Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, Arizona. Upon completing residency, he and his family plan to relocate to the Midwest where he will begin practicing in Joplin, Missouri. During their time in Alaska, Alex and his wife and 2-year-old son have enjoyed keeping track of all of their wildlife encounters (mostly moose, by the hundreds), hiking to glaciers and waterfalls, and catching glimpses of the beautiful northern lights.
