Raechelle Hayter, DDS is a 2nd year pediatric resident at the Springfield, Missouri site for NYU Langone. Raechelle was born and raised in Springfield, MO. Even as a child she knew she wanted to do something that would involve people smiling and dentistry was it.
She went to college at Missouri State University where she received her degree in Cell and Molecular Biology. After finishing undergrad, she went to dental school at University of Missouri – Kansas City. Following dental school, she completed a one-year residency for Advanced Education in General Dentistry also at UMKC. After completing AEGD, she returned to Springfield and joined a family practice office as well as an office with a focus on dental care for children.
It was through working at both practices, Raechelle quickly learned how much she loved working with kids. She discovered this was what she wanted to do full time. The desire to learn the skills it takes to be a pediatric dentist and provide the services these kids need was her new goal. Raechelle is very excited and thankful for the opportunity to become a pediatric dentist.
Raechelle married her husband Corbin in September 2018 and they have their daughter, Findley who is now 2 years old.
