She grew up in Minneapolis, MN and received her B.S. in Biomedical Sciences at Marquette Univeristy, Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at Marquette University School of Dentistry, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
