Hello, my name is Jimmy Gibson and I am currently a second year pediatric dental resident at One Brooklyn Health (Brookdale Hospital). My research is on caries rates of children that participate in WIC versus children that do not participate in the government assistance program. We found that children that did participate in WIC had lower caries rates, consumed less sugary foods/beverages, bur brushed fewer times than children that did not participate in WIC.
