Phillip B. Gordon, DMD, MPH, MHA is a current second year pediatric dental resident at Augusta University Dental College of Georgia, in Augusta, GA. A native of Macon, Ga, he completed his undergraduate studies at Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA receiving a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Neuroscience and Public Health. Afterwards, he received a Master in Health Administration (M.H.A.) degree from Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY. Post graduate school Dr. Gordon enrolled in the Georgia Teaching Fellows Program of Atlanta, where he taught middle grades (7th – 8th) mathematics for four years to undeserved students in the Fulton County School system. While teaching, he pursued further education and received a Master in Public Health (M.P.H) degree from Mercer University, Atlanta, GA, prior to being accepted into dental school. Dr. Gordon received his dental degree from the Dental College of Georgia in Augusta where he also stayed to pursue his advanced education in pediatric residency training. At the conclusion of residency training, he plans to be an associate in private practice in Savannah, GA.
