Letitia Edwards is a 2nd year resident at the USC Ostrow School of Dentistry Advanced Pediatrics Program. She is also a graduate of the University of the Pacific, Dugoni School of Dentistry Class of 2020. Throughout dental school and residency she has participated heavily in organized dentistry. During residency, in addition to participating in the Warren Brandli internship, she has had the privilege of participating in the CDA Leadership Development program. Also, in her final year of dental school, she had the privilege of sitting on the American Student Dental Association’s Board of Trustee’s where she learned first-hand the power of dental organizations. From lobbying Congress on behalf of students in California on student loan debt reform to collaborating with leaders across California regarding delayed licensure due to COVID-19, her experiences span beyond the walls of the dental operatory. During residency she has had the pleasure of participating in the CDA’s Leadership Development Program and as a CSPD Warren Brandli Intern. Following residency, she plans to begin her career as a Pediatric Dentist in the Greater Los Angeles area and looks forward to career-long engagement in organized dentistry.
