Professor, Pediatrics Dentistry. Dr. Salama completed a Master of Science degree in oral biology and a certificate of Pediatric Dentistry from the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Salama is board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American College of Dentistry, the International College of Dentists, and the Academy of Dentistry International. Dr. Salama has won numerous awards and over the years he have served in positions of responsibility at the national and international levels. He served as a consultant and examiner of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and as a member of Commission on Dental Accreditation as well as served in the Editorial Board of the Pediatric Dentistry Journal for several years. He served as an ad hoc reviewer for many journals including Pediatric Dentistry Journal, Journal of Dental Education, General Dentistry Journal, Journal of Clinical Pediatric Dentistry, etc. His passion is to serve dental students, dental hygiene students, residents, postgraduate students, and interns as a faculty with my extensive experience. He have broad involvement in different types of research (laboratory, clinical, survey, animals, etc.) with predoctoral students, interns, postgraduate students, residents, and thesis supervision. He had published over 100 publications, presented more than 250 abstracts and table clinics. He presented many local, national and international continuing education courses. I am a member of numerous national and international professional organizations.
