Dr. Trent Madsen, DMD, was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona, the second of eight children. Growing up, he was active in various activities including Boy Scouts, sports, music and church. During high school he was named to the all-region Men’s volleyball team and earned a spot on the all state choir team. He was involved in Boy Scouts, during his youth, which culminated in him receiving the highest rank of Eagle Scout.
After graduating from Red Mountain High School, Trent attended Arizona State University where he played on the volleyball team. While working towards his degree, Trent worked with the Phoenix Suns Gorilla as a trampoline dunker. He was able to perform for thousands of fans in Phoenix and across the world in Greece and China. After receiving a degree in business, he entered the workforce as a business professional. Trent spent over a decade in business and during this time earned an MBA from Western International University. After traveling to Ethiopia on a dental mission trip, he discovered that he had a passion for dentistry. He decided to leave his business career to go back to school and was eventually accepted into the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. He found during dental school that his greatest fulfillment came from working with children and is now currently finishing a certification in pediatric dentistry through NYU-Langone in Springfield, Missouri.
During his free time, Trent enjoys spending time with his wife and four young daughters. Pink is his new favorite color and he is an avid fan of his girls in dance, gymnastics and tumbling. He enjoys being outdoors and teaching his daughters how to camp and fish. He is looking forward to getting involved in the community and exploring his new home in the Midwest.
