Carla Jones, DDS is a native of Lansing, Michigan and a first-year resident/M.S. in Pediatric Dentistry candidate at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in Ann Arbor, MI and Mott Children's Health Center . She graduated from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University (AGGIE PRIDE!), with her B.S. in biology degree. In 2021, she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Along with receiving her DDS, she was recognized with the Samuel D. Harris Award for Excellence in Pediatric Dentistry and Student Excellence in Predoctoral Award. While in dental school, she served as 2020-2021 National President of the Student National Dental Association and participated in Global Initiatives in Oral and Craniofacial Health service to Kenya and Jamaica. Dr. Carla Jones is passionate about mentoring to help individuals reach their aspirations, and fullest potential. She enjoys nature walks, eating delicious plant-based meals, and traveling. She loves expanding her mindset with enriching experiences and people. Dr. Carla Jones lives by the philosophy of kaizen – continuous improvement.
