Joshua Raisin, DDS, MS is a third year pediatric dentistry resident at the University of North Carolina. He received his Bachelor of Science degree with honors from the University of Western Ontario in 2013, and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto in 2018.
From there, Raisin completed a one-year general practice residency in pediatrics through the IWK Children’s Hospital/Dalhousie University before embarking on his specialty training. Joshua strives to maintain a work-life balance, where he has taken on leadership roles in school-related and community clubs. Joshua has a long-standing history of working with children with special needs, and more recently has developed a passion for improving care for individuals of all gender identities. His ultimate goal is to welcome and comprehensively treat these patients in a community setting.
