Mariam Alkheder, DDS, Pediatric Dentist - Kuwait University, Loma Linda University
Mariam Alkheder is pediatric dentist and scholarship holder from Kuwait. She earned her BDS (DDS) dental degree from Kuwait University in 2016. Dr. Alkheder completed her advanced training in Pediatric Dentistry from Loma Linda University in 2021. She is currently completing her master’s degree from the same institute. She is a recipient of the 2021 Pugh Achievement Award.
Dr. Alkheder currently holds a scholarship position from Kuwait university and plans to return to Kuwait as a full-time faculty teaching in Kuwait University’s Department of Developmental and Preventive Sciences once fully board certified.
Dr. Alkheder’s present focus is in teaching and research activities. She is specifically interested in dental trauma, behavior guidance and Evidence Based Dentistry. She is actively involved in organizations both nationally and internationally.
