Victoria Chang, B.S. - Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (D.M.D.) Candidate, Class of 2023. Ms. Chang is a current Fourth Year Pre-Doctoral Student at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine (BUGSDM) in Boston, Massachusetts.
Ms. Chang is originally from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology with double minors in Studio Arts and Chemistry from University of Pittsburgh, Class of 2017. Upon completing her undergraduate education, she moved from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia to continue her education through a Pre-Health Specialized Studies Post-Baccalaureate program at University of Pennsylvania. After, she worked full time at a dental office located in West Philadelphia for a year before moving to Boston for dental school.
At BUGSDM, she is an active student leader, ambassador, researcher, and a fellow in the Academic Dental Careers Fellowship Program through the American Dental Education Assocation (ADEA). She also contributes to the school's community outreach efforts, serves as a tutor and teaching assistant for several courses, and is a member of various professional organizations. Her involvement in pediatric dentistry has grown since 2014, when she first became involved in research with the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, and worked as a dental assistant at a pediatric dental practice in her hometown.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, running, group fitness classes, reading, trying new restaurants and cafes, listening to music, and spending time with loved ones. Ms. Chang is immensely appreciative of her robust support system, inspiring mentors, and aspires to join the field of pediatric dentistry.
