Dr. Azza Tagelsir Ahmed BDS, PhD is a pediatric dental resident at Henry Goldman School of Dental Medicine at Boston University. Dr Ahmed has completed her doctoral training in Dental science at Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2020.
Dr. Ahmed completed dental school training in her home country (Sudan), followed by an advanced training program in Pediatric Dentistry and Special Care in Belgium before serving as an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at Khartoum University Faculty of Dentistry. Through the years, Dr. Ahmed was mostly engaged in community-based research projects in Sudan, Belgium, and in the USA and has published in peer-reviewed journals [https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=lV84KQ4AAAAJ&hl=en&authuser=2]
Dr. Ahmed is an invited reviewer of Pediatric Dentistry and the International Journal of Pediatric Dentistry. The current research focus of Dr. Ahmed is tackling the problem of developmental defects of enamel in the United States with emphasis on Molar Hypomineralization.
