Survey of Pediatric Dental Residents Experience of treating HIV patients

Purpose: To survey current American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) residents on the prevalence of pediatric patients with HIV.

Methods: Participants will receive an email via the AAPD listserv advertising the study. The advertisement will include details concerning the study (e.g., name of PI, title and purpose of study) and a description of consent and it will include a link to an online survey form.

Conclusion: Results are pending and the hypothesized conclusion is that AAPD residents have good level of experience in treating pediatric patients with HIV.
