The absence of permanent teeth, also known as agenesis, is a usual presentation seen in dental patients. Third molars are the most common, with maxillary lateral incisors coming in second. Treatment planning to correct these missing incisors is an esthetic challenge that many general, orthodontic and prosthodontic dental teams have to deal with. This report discusses the case of a 9-year-old male who presented to the dental clinic with bilateral maxillary lateral incisors congenitally missing. The patient presented with alopecia, which along with the congenitally missing dentition suggests the possibility of ectodermal dysplasia. This report will discuss the management and treatment plan to address his congenitally missing laterals.
