This session will be given in a point-counterpoint format. The speaker will be asked to present the short- and long-term outcomes of each technique. The main goal of the session is to compare and contrast one technique over another and describe when one technique has a clear advantage over the other technique. Specifically, arthrocentesis will be compared and contrasted to arthroscopy; open joint arthroplasty will be compared and contrasted to modify condylotomy, and stock alloplastic total joint replacement will be compared and contrasted to custom alloplastic total joint replacement. The speakers will be asked to present one to two cases that illustrate the major advantages of their assigned technique.
