With the onset of the COVID pandemic, new social patterns have come into existence in attempt to decrease the infectivity rate as well as the spread of the virus. These alterations resulted in changes in the etiology and management of these facial fractures. Interestingly, these changes differed depending on the geographic region and social organization. These new patterns will be discussed, compared and contrasted to highlight these differences.
