Kimberley Perkins Davis DDS, MBA is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry, Nashville, Tennessee. Additionally, she serves as the Program Director for the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program, Director of Graduate Programs (School of Dentistry), and Assistant Designated Institution Official (Graduate Medical Education).
The United States Army was where she spent the majority of her professional career. After deciding to hang up her jump wings and combat boots, Dr. Perkins retired from the Army in 2017 at the rank of Colonel, having served 22 years on Active Duty. She has earned an impressive list of Military accolades and awards. Duty, Honor, and Country are never far from her spirit. Service to others has always been a critical part of what she does.
Dr. Perkins is a graduate of Central State University, Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry, The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, and Tennessee State University. In her free time, she loves traveling, shopping, and spending time with her family.
