Prosthodontist Carolinas Center for Oral and Facial Surgery Charlotte, North Carolina
This session will provide comprehensive surgical and prosthodontic evaluation of the full arch dental immediate-load implant patient who has a simultaneous dentofacial deformity and malocclusion. After identifying the patient characteristics that benefit from this combined approach, digital vs analog prosthodontic work-up and virtual surgical planning for the orthognathic surgical work-up and treatment planning will be detailed. Following the planning phase, the surgical phase and how a combined approach differs from an isolated orthognathic surgery or isolated full arch case will be reviewed. Post-operative pearls and complications will be discussed as well.
