Carly Zambino, BS, is an Administrator of Practice Operations at Penn Medicine. She joined the Radiation Oncology department in July 2019 and has led efforts to improve efficiency and patient experience with an overhaul of the treatment scheduling process at the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine. Carly’s career prior to joining Penn Medicine has been in the delivery of and operations surrounding pediatric behavioral health. She made the jump to oncology when her father was diagnosed with cancer and has had the unique opportunity to learn the department at the same time her father was a patient, offering the ability to utilize her own experience to impact operational efforts. She continues to focus on efficiency and standardization across the department, while maintaining an emphasis on patient satisfaction.
