Martha Mychkovsky MHSM, RT(T) is a Senior Improvement Specialist at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Pittsburgh PA and is also an ACRO Administrative Surveyor. Martha started as a radiation therapist at University of Michigan Health System then she moved to UPMC Hillman Cancer Center focusing on Quality, Regulatory and Patient Experience with a heavy involvement in the EMR. Martha has led the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in many quality improvement efforts and is a positive force for driving changes. One of her passions is working with staff to engage them in changes for continuous improvement across the radiation oncology network. With so many changes in the field of radiation oncology and health care in general there are many obstacles to work through. In her presentation Martha will share methods and tips for supporting staff through small and large changes.
