OPERATIONS MANAGER

Mary Hickey, Operations Manager, Bon Secours Radiotherapy in partnership with UPMC Hillman Cacer Centre.
My role as operations manager involves running a busy radiotherapy department and managing the staff on a daily basis.
I work with a mutli disciplinary team including radiation oncologists, radiation therapists, physicists, nuring and administrators.
I ensure that quality safe standards are met for our patients and I lead the team in any departmental accreditation and inspections.
The department offers the most advanced radiotherapy treatments with a full suite of stereotactic services.
We also offer research trials to our patients, we have three trials opened in the past six months.
