His expertise covers renewable energy integration, integrated resource planning, electricity market design, energy systems modeling, regulatory economics, transmission pricing, and rate design. Dr. Kahrl received Ph.D. and M.S. degrees from the Energy and Resources Group at U.C. Berkeley.
