A vastly underappreciated cause of chronic pain and loss of quality of life, feline osteoarthritis is a debilitating condition affecting most cats over the age of 10 years. This talk will focus on tools to aid in diagnosis, creating a multimodal treatment plan, evaluating the efficacy of the plan and making appropriate modifications to improve pain management. The importance of creating a plan that preserves the relationship between cat and caregiver and improves compliance will be central to the discussion.
