This lecture will highlight syncope in small animals. We will discuss the characteristics of syncope (and differentiate from seizures) and cardiovascular causes. We will discuss arrhythmias, congenital heart disease, and acquired heart diseases in cats and dogs that can causes syncope and their respective treatments.
