WS07 - Veterinary Inventory 101

This presentation covers the fundamentals of supply chain management for veterinary professionals involved with purchasing for their practice. We define basic concepts of inventory flow and important terms. Beyond setting the foundation for the job of purchasing, we outline strategies and how to implement them within the medical setting. It covers ordering, shopping, counting professionally, and how to integrate those in their practice’s operations. We also cover examples so that the attendees can easily apply these concepts to their own stock stream and perform their duties more successfully.
