In virtually every survey of pet owners, cost of service is cited as a major factor in not just whether or not they seek care but also how they seek it and how much of it they seek. This talk will review the latest data on the rising cost of pet care as well as new findings around trends in consumers’ “willingness to pay” for veterinary care and how offering payment alternatives can make a huge difference. Every practice offers payment options of one kind or another but very few pet owners use them—what can you do to increase “yes”?
