Dr. Ann Trimmer graduated summa cum laude from Claremont McKenna College with a BS in Biology and with honors from Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed a one-year private practice internship in Las Vegas at Tropicana Animal Hospital before beginning her residency training with Drs. Griffin, Rosenkrantz and Boord in San Diego. During her residency she completed two novel prospective studies on the use of allergen specific immunotherapy (allergy shots) in cats. Dr. Trimmer has published several articles on the use of allergen specific immunotherapy. Her special interests include feline allergies and asthma, canine ear disease, autoimmune diseases and the management of chronic skin disease. Her dedication to her patients and providing cutting edge care is well known throughout the community.
