Federico graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Córdoba in Spain, where he continued working for a few months as an intern at the Small Animal Department.
Then, he completed a small animal rotating internship at the National Veterinary School of Alfort (Paris, France), and two specialized internships, one in small animal internal medicine and another in small animal diagnostic imaging at the same institution.
Afterwards, he began a residency in diagnostic imaging at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Utrecht University (the Netherlands), where he obtained the diploma of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI). After finishing his residency, he stayed for almost a year at the same institution working as a Radiologist.
Later, he moved to the US and worked for a year as an Assistant Professor at the College of Veterinary Medicine of Purdue University. Since 2017, he is working as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the College of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Florida. In 2019, Federico also obtained the diploma of the American College of Veterinary Radiology (ACVR).
