Nancy Gagliano, MD, MBA, is currently the Deployment Core Lead for RADx (Rapid Acceleration of Diagnostics) Tech, an NIH sponsored program bringing millions of COVID-19 diagnostic tests to market. Her team supports the RADx Tech selected companies’ regulatory, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, program management, marketing, and educational needs.
Dr Gagliano has over 35 years of clinical and leadership experience and is a highly accomplished executive with deep strategic and operational experience in IT strategy, clinical operations, quality, growth, and physician organization design.
She previously served as a senior vice president at CVS Health in the role of chief medical officer for MinuteClinic. While there, she oversaw expansion of new programs and services, POC testing, quality, operations, as well as health system affiliate relationships. During her tenure, MinuteClinic experienced significant growth from 400 to over 1,100 clinics, seeing 6M patients annually.
Before that, Dr. Gagliano spent more than 21 years at Massachusetts General Hospital. Her final position was as the senior vice president of practice improvement, serving as an executive for both the Massachusetts Physician Organization and MGH.
Dr. Gagliano is a graduate of Union College, Harvard Medical School, and Northeastern DeMore-McKim School of Business. She completed her internal medicine training internal medicine Brigham and Women’s Hospital and fellowship in Adolescent Medicine at The Children’s Hospital in Boston. In 2001, Dr. Gagliano was named by Boston Magazine as one of Boston’s “Top Docs” for women. In 2015, she was named Health Industry Leader by the Providence Business News. As Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School while at MGH, Dr. Gagliano was an educator of medical residents, fellows, and faculty, focusing her research and teaching on developing physician leaders and integration of technology into practice.
