Matthew Tucker is an out of the box thinker and change agent known as a catalyst for product and portfolio growth and organizational transformation. His diverse career demonstrates consistent revenue growth through the launching of new products, incorporating acquired assets, and rehabilitating languishing brands. Over the course of his career Matthew has gained skills in commercialization planning, marketing, product management, sales, acquisitions, integrations, P&L management, and healthcare systems. This expertise has been developed in Med Device, Pharma, and Payer / Healthcare Systems ranging from start-ups to large multi-national companies.
Matthew is a Board Member at NightWare and Facing Forward to End Homelessness. NightWare is a Breakthrough Designation, in-market FDA 510k digital therapeutic for PTSD-related nightmares focused solely on patients in the DoD and VA. Facing Forward, a non-profit in Chicago with a mission to end homelessness supports housing for ~900 individuals. Matthew brings big company strategy but uses a small company, nimble, and cost-effective approach.
During his contribution as the Head of Product Marketing for Mylan’s Specialty business unit, Matthew was on the leadership team for a $1B business unit and oversaw $40mm in marketing budget. Providing leadership for promotional activities of a portfolio of specialty drug assets, his achievements also included rehabilitating the EpiPen brand perception after significant public and government backlash.
Matthew perfected his commercialization and management approach at Baxter Healthcare where he drove significant revenue increases and was a key leader in growing the portfolio through organic and inorganic initiatives such as traditional promotional strategies, product line extensions, and leading the commercial integration of a $275mm acquisition
Matthew earned his MBA (Global Finance) and his B.S. (Chemistry) from Butler University in Indianapolis, IN. Matthew is a commercial advisor for medtech companies. He is the author of ‘The Selfish Career’ a book about taking ownership in your career.
