Drew Redepenning is a Biomedical Engineer, Assistive Technology Practitioner, and second-year medical student at Albany Medical College in New York. He formerly worked as the Lead Assistive Technology Specialist at Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute in Minnesota, and currently works as an Assistive Technology Specialist for LiveLife Therapy Solutions performing in-home assistive technology assessments throughout Minnesota. He has a passion for helping individuals with disabilities maximize their daily independence and achieve their goals using assistive technology. Drew’s primary focuses are in computer accessibility, phone accessibility, adaptive video gaming, academic and vocational assistive technology, power wheelchair interfacing, and environmental access. Drew also remains involved with Courage Kenny’s assistive technology department as a volunteer assisting with custom projects within the inpatient unit and developing the adaptive gaming clinic. In addition, Drew volunteers his time handling all assistive technology services for St. Margaret’s Center’s pediatric vent unit in Albany, New York.
