Resident Physician, PGY-2
Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai
Alexandra Laurent, D.O. is a PGY-2 Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation resident at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Laurent's interest in PM&R began with her training to become a physician who practices osteopathic medicine. She believes in the body's innate ability to heal itself and the use of manual medicine to promote this process. She eagerly looks for opportunities to use and hone in on osteopathic techniques within her patient population. After residency she plans to go into practice to treat musculoskeletal and sports related injuries using the highly sought after modalities and techniques she was trained in.
