Kuntal Chowdhary, MD is a PGY-2 resident at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC). Her long-term clinical and research interests are in translational sports medicine focused on the development of precision medicine therapeutics and technological solutions. Additionally, she is interested in medical education and spearheading an initiative on resident ultrasound education. This past year, she served as the Secretary for the AAP RFC. She is currently participating in the RMSTP and conducting research to evaluate mechanistic processes underlying the benefits of platelet-rich plasma, funded by the Foundation for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Scott F. Nadler PASSOR Musculoskeletal Research Grant.
