Glenn K. Klute, PhD, is a Research Career Scientist at the VA Rehabilitation R&D Center for Limb Loss and Mobility and an affiliate Professor at the University of Washington in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He earned a doctorate in Bioengineering from the University of Washington in 1999, has served as an IRB chair, and authored 78 peer-reviewed manuscripts. The aim of his research is to enhance the mobility of individuals with lower limb amputation for which he has received over $15M in funding from the VA, DOD, and NIH.
