Nathan Oland is a Senior National Account Executive in the Association Risk Management Services (ARMS) department for Federated Insurance. His primary role is working with Federated’s national trade associations and buying groups on their member’s underwriting, risk management, and claims services.

Since 1992, Nate has worked in Federated’s Claims, Marketing, and ARMS departments. Since 2006, Nate has authored dozens of articles and presented to hundreds of association members on various risk management topics. His passion is to ensure your employees go home safe to their families each day following work. Nate has earned the trust of hundreds of business owners in the areas of safety, risk, and business management; focusing on value, service, and relationships.

Nate graduated from North Dakota State University with a BA in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing and a minor in Communications. His professional designations include being a member of LUTCF (Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow) and AIC (Associate in Claims); however, he proudly says his preferred designation is D.A.D.

A native of Minnesota, Nate and his wife Kathy are the parents of two awesome kids and two incredible doodles. In his spare time Nate and his wife Kathy have been Big Brothers Big Sisters mentors for their “little brother” Brady for eight years. Nate is also a hospice volunteer with his therapy mini-doodle, Lola.
