Live Chat: Special Libraries - Info Pros in GLAM Roles & Beyond
Friday, February 5, 2021
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM EST
Information professionals can be found in every type of library imaginable, but more and more they are taking roles in developing technology, designing web sites and software, creating taxonomies, leading digital asset management or content services departments, researching prospects, creating proposals and more. And often these roles exist beyond the traditional galleries, libraries, archives and museums (GLAM). Sponsored by the SLA Canada chapter, our panel discusses, in both English and French, some of the new opportunities for info pros!
Facilitated by: Therese Mainville, Knowledge Operations Manager, Roche Sandy Hirsh, Associate Dean, Academics, College of Professional & Global Education, San Jose State University Rebecca Jones, Senior Partner, Dysart & Jones
