From Accessibility to Inclusion: Improving and Expanding Library Accessibility Services

As student, instructor, and staff accessibility needs diversify, so too do library accessibility services. This has become even more relevant during the current pandemic situation. This session will draw on the experiences, challenges, and triumphs of two librarians in newly created accessibility roles as they work to build and evolve their respective library’s accessibility services. We will focus on accessibility initiatives at our libraries, and the challenges faced during the recent shift to virtual services.
