The Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) is a regional planning agency serving 101 cities and towns in Metropolitan Boston. The agency is playing a leading role in helping the region to achieve equity through the State of Equity Policy Agenda 2018. Toward this goal, the region implemented the Racial Equity Municipal Action Plan (REMAP) program, and REMAP and MAPC are offering technical assistance and regional guidance to cities and towns.
