Margot Malachowski, MLS, AHIP (she/her) is an Education & Outreach Coordinator for the Network of the National Library of Medicine, New England Region. She provides training and support for educators, librarians, consumers and community organizations. Margot worked as a medical librarian for Baystate Health in Springfield, MA from 2008-2016. She worked in public libraries in Massachusetts and North Carolina from 1996-2008. Margot teaches courses in Rural Health Resources, LGBTQ+ Wellness and NNLM's 4-week course "Stand Up for Health: Health and Wellness Services for Your Community." She has delivered posters, lightning presentations and panel discussions for Artists in Context, Association of Rural and Small Libraries, Connecticut Public Health Association, Dartmouth College Library October Conference, Maine Library Association, Massachusetts Library Association, Medical Library Association, National Health Promotion Summit, North Atlantic Health Sciences Library Conference and Rhode Island Library Association.
