Michele Spatz, M.S., is the Community Engagement Coordinator for the National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NNLM) “All of Us” initiative in the Pacific Northwest. Prior to joining NNLM, Michele led an interdisciplinary approach to health literacy at Pacific University; consulted for Planetree, an international healthcare organization advocating patient-centered care; and was founding director of a consumer health resource center which she led for 20 years. Michele is the author of national publications on consumer health information and teaches, speaks nationally and writes extensively on reaching people with meaningful health information. She is a passionate health literacy advocate and book club promoter.
