IgNS 2021 Health and Safety Protocols:

What’s mandatory?

Face masks

Upload Image Existing IgNS 2021 health and safety protocols for indoor masking are in line with the most recently-issued CDC guidance. Masks are required in all public areas of the conference (unless eating or drinking).

Proof of vaccination

Upload Image Attendees, speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, vendors, and staff are required to upload a full vaccination record.  For any unvaccinated participants, a negative PCR COVID-19 test obtained no more than 72 hours prior to conference start is required.  IgNS staff and the venue will continually monitor the COVID-19 safety procedures across the show to ensure compliance and safety for all attendees.

Note: All contracted vendors and support staff must comply with these requirements regardless of the length of time spent in the convention space.

Health and safety monitoring

Moving around the conference

Traffic flow in and out of the show will be carefully managed. We will also provide plenty of clear signage and extra event staff to guide you on your way.

Badging

Upload Image IgNS 2021 badges are required to be worn by all participants in order to access and remain in the conference space and attend any sessions or events.  Badges will be checked at various check points. Participants without badges will not be admitted.

Exhibit hall and session halls density

Upload Image Wider aisles will be added, as well as more distancing in seating areas to reduce crowding and improve traffic flow.

Hand sanitizer

Upload Image Hand sanitizer dispensers will be placed throughout the show. All conference participants are encouraged to wash and sanitize their hands frequently and after every meeting.

Meals and refreshments

Upload Image IgNS 2021 is looking forward to providing all participants a full food and beverage service during scheduled meal times like breakfast and lunch, as well as hors d’oeuvres and cocktail receptions.  All applicable COVID-19 health and safety standards will be upheld.

 Cleaning standards and special measures

Red Rock Casino Hotel & Spa convention space will be cleaned regularly, including sanitation of commonly used surfaces. Exhibitors will also be required to clean meeting areas between each appointment or meeting.

Upload Image Red Rock Resort has received the AAA Inspected Clean designation which is a third-party inspection validating the hotel cleanliness.  This designation means Red Rock has met AAA’s established standards of cleanliness and physical condition, including surface cleanliness testing.  Cleanliness is validated by detecting adenosine triphosphate (ATP) – an energy-carrying molecule found in most food sources, human skin cells, bacteria, yeast, mold and biological material found in respiratory droplets.  AAA’s criteria are aligned to meet reasonable expectations for cleanliness during a hotel stay.

Upload Image Red Rock Resort also uses EPA List N disinfectants for Coronavirus (COVID-19).  EPA expects all products on List N to kill the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) when used according to the label directions.

In addition to the above, Red Rock has committed to adopting the following during the IgNS program:

  • Use of disinfectant spray in meeting rooms (overnight)
  • Use of plexi-glass dividers at buffet stations
  • Hand sanitizer stations throughout the Conference Center, Hotel and Casino
