Abhishek is professionally trained in health economics & outcomes research, with over 12 years of experience in observational research and real-world data. Abhishek has led and managed several epidemiologic, health economic and outcomes research studies from developing proposals, protocols, and analysis plans; and performed analyses and generated reports and manuscripts. He has led Value Demonstration Strategy (VDS) projects to develop the value proposition for new products and determine the appropriate studies to generate the evidence to support those value propositions.
Abhishek is currently working at Johnson and Johnson as a Director in the Medical Device Epidemiology team. He leads the robotics division in joint replacement. Abhishek has been with Johnson and Johnson for more than five years and was previously working for a consulting firm, Evidera.
Abhishek has earned his master’s and PhD in Pharmaceutical Health Outcomes and Policy from the University of Houston. He also has a master’s in Pharmacy from India.
