Capt. Brad Shepherd is a 25 retired veteran of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Capt. Shepherd has served in a variety of command positions one of which was the commander of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol Officer Assistance Program (peer support team). Capt. Shepherd also served in command positions with the Emergency Services Unit and Field Commander of Troop J, Enid. Capt. Shepherd retired and founded a non-profit foundation named Warrior's Rest Foundation that builds, trains and mentors peer support teams in the law enforcement and first responder community.
